About me
I’m a predoctoral researcher (FPU21/03261) in General Linguistics at the University of Cádiz, developing my doctoral research in computational terminology and corpus linguistics. I’m affiliated with the Semaínein research group (HUM-147) and the Computational and Digital Linguistics Lab at the Institute for Applied Linguistics (ILA).
I hold dual degrees in Linguistics and Applied Languages, and in English Studies (UCA, 2020), and a Master’s in International Communication (UCA, 2021).
My research focuses on linguistic engineering and computational terminology, with emphasis on automatic term extraction and modeling specialized language through corpus-based and machine learning approaches. I also work in authorship analysis, combining forensic linguistics and stylometry. I’m active in science outreach and part of the editorial team at Circuigramas, a Substack about natural language processing.
